NOBLESVILLE HEAT PLAYERS TEAM UP AGAINST BREAST CANCER

The Noblesville Heat 9U and 11U baseball teams participated in the Indiana State Games over the Fourth of July weekend at the Field of Dreams complex in Noblesville, Indiana. Players from both teams wore pink jerseys for their Saturday and Sunday games, and were joined by the coaching staff and parent group. The players, coaches, and parents posed for a photograph on Saturday afternoon, and walked off the field to a round of applause by the opposing team from Carmel, Indiana and its fans.

The pink jerseys and pink sunglasses were a sign of support for Jess McLochlin, a Noblesville Heat mom and wife of Noblesville Heat coach Mike McLochlin. Game Day USA was truly proud to be a part of this event. It was moving to see that even though these highly competitive tournaments often feature rivalry and controversy, the spirit of fellowship, togetherness, and compassion is still alive and well in youth baseball.
Hats off to the Noblesville Heat for teaching all of us that the final score at the end of a kids' baseball game is not all that matters.
