Indiana Destinations

SOUTH BEND
Teams who visit South Bend will experience a vibrant community, rich in history and tradition. The University of Notre Dame is one of the top-rated Catholic institutions in the country, and is known for its storied football program and the mystique of its campus. Visitors can arrange to tour Notre Dame Stadium and the athletic facilities, along with the famous Golden Dome, which is among the most widely known university landmarks in the world.

Visitors will also enjoy the College Football Hall of Fame, which is full of action-packed interactive displays and exhibits. Sports enthusiasts can watch history come alive and discover highlights from each decade with photographs, artifacts and video kiosks that paint a picture of how college football has changed through the years. This attraction is a must for all sports teams who visit South Bend.

Additional attractions include Coveleski Stadium, which is home to the South Bend Silver Hawks, the Class A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Visitors can also stop at the South Bend Chocolate Company’s Chocolate Museum and take the “Inside Scoop” tour or the Studebaker National Automobile Museum. Finally, families with younger children will want to stop at the Potawatomi Zoo, which is Indiana’s oldest zoo and home to more than 400 animals and a zoo train.


INDIANAPOLIS/NOBLESVILLE

When it comes to racing, Indianapolis takes the checkered flag every time. Commonly referred to as the "Racing Capital of the World," Indianapolis hosts the two largest single-day sporting events in the world. Teams and their families can visit the Hall of Fame Museum on the grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to discover how the city's love affair with racing started, where it's been and where it's going.

Baseball fans will want to enjoy America's favorite pastime with an incredible view of the downtown skyline with the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field. Families will also want to get back to nature at the Indianapolis Zoo and White River Gardens, where plants and animals are the main attraction. The nation's only accredited combined zoo, aquarium and botanical garden, it occupies 64 acres in White River State Park.

Indianapolis also allows young athletes the opportunity to follow the journey of the student-athlete at the NCAA Hall of Champions. Through interactive displays and video presentations, visitors are able to see and hear athletes and coaches describe how they excelled in their respective sports. Finally, kids can take a ride on the turn-of-the-century carousel or get a great view of the stars at SpaceQuest Planetarium, which will entertain and intrigue visitors of all ages.

VALPARAISO
Valparaiso is home to Valparaiso University, which offers nationally recognized education programs in addition to its full schedule of men’s and women’s NCAA Division I athletic competitions.  A range of restaurants from pizza parlors, bakeries, a European market, sandwich shops, coffee houses to unique bistros, provide dining options from casual to elegant. 

Valparaiso is a family focused, volunteer oriented, and visitor friendly community. Visitors can partake in all the city has to offer, including a dynamic recreation system that holds events regularly; over 15 parks with playgrounds, lakes, and picnic pavilions; outdoor concerts; award-winning theatres; dynamic museums; a drive-in theater; and snow skiing during the Winter months.

A short one-hour drive from Chicago, Valparaiso offers a small town atmosphere with the many attractions of a bustling city right around the corner!
